About Me

I was born in Sigmaringen to a German dad and a Mauritian mother October 18, 1994 (and ’94’ is my favorite racing number). At the age of 21, I became the youngest winner of the prestigious Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft(DTM) and, with support from Mercedes, I also managed to score points in Formula One with small outfits such as Marussia and Sauber driving a total of 39 Grands Prix. Shortly thereafter I became development driver for Scuderia Ferrari, carrying out simulator work. At the same time, I had become attracted by the new zero-emission Formula E and so I resumed active racing with Mahindra Racing first, before joining TAG Heuer Porsche in the 2020 season. I have been with them ever since and in 2022 I scored my maiden victory (the first for Porsche in the category) at the 2022 Mexican E-Prix. More wins followed with the Saudi Arabian double-header in Diriyah and the Indonesian race and we keep the ball rolling…
